Lumia 930 screen size concerns

Anyone else going to be real disappointed if this phone comes with a 4.5 inch screen? I don't think it will though because that would be redicuosly small screen for 1080 red.

Nah, it will probably be a 5 inch device, just like Icon, but with some design changes.. At least this is what I hope for. Time for Nokia to upgrade its devices, size-wise!
But to answer your questio, yeah, I will be pretty disappointed and frustrated.:straight:

I hope it has the same form factor as the 925. I think that's the best looking Lumia. I would rather the Icon be thin with a small camera hump like the 1520 & 925 & no built in wireless charging.

I don't think it's "tiny" But let's face it. A 5" device in the same overall size polycarbonate would be a nice upgrade.
Galaxy S5 - 5.1" screen 142 x 72.5 x 8.1 mm (5.59 x 2.85 x 0.32 in)
Lumia 1020 - 4.5" screen 130.4 x 71.4 x 10.4 mm, 96.9 cc (5.13 x 2.81 x 0.41 in)
Lumia 920 - 4.5" screen 130.3 x 70.8 x 10.7 mm, 99 cc (5.13 x 2.79 x 0.42 in)
Nokia Icon - 5" screen 137 x 71 x 9.8 mm (5.39 x 2.80 x 0.39 in)

I could care less about thickness for the most part. But Nokia could work some magic on them bezels and fit a nice screen. I think that is one of the reasons I have a hard time choosing between a 1520 and the 1020. The 1520's screen fills the front of the phone in a much more economical and appealing way. The 1020, I want dat camera! but that screen and large bezels...tisk tisk tisk. :winktongue:

I'll only buy this phone if it has a 4,5 " screen. 5" is soooo big. I want a phone with a 4,5" screen, 2 GB RAM and between 15MPx and 20MPx camera.

since Capacitive buttons will be omitted..
there should be new design!!!

I agree with you. 4.5" is a perfect size as far as I'm concerned. One of the reasons I love my 822 and didn't jump on the Icon, just seems to bulky for my taste.

2gb of ram will be useful on WP for future apps/ games, also the users now are more spec-oriented ( they want more for the money they pay)
And overall the phone will be more future proof..

For me I would love to see a global version of the Nokia icon .. Anything lower than 5" display will be a no no for me, I'm already thinking of the Lumia 1520 .. But lets see what Nokia got to show us tomorrow.

end to end screens sure looks Amazing.. But think of it, it would be hard to use and hard to avoid these unintended taps on the screen.
For me, this will drive me crazy.

Windows Phone 8 already is future proof, and the software can handle those games just fine with one GB
