So now I have to wait for another 2 months to get a device that should have been released along with Lumia 1520. After 8 months you are getting a device with the same old config. At least Nokia should have made some enhancement with the camera or the processor by implementing SD 801, so that they could compete with Galaxy S5 and Xperia T2 Ultra

Well so far Nokia has had device available right away when announcement has been made for the support of the SoC used on WP.

There was announcements for lower end Qualcomm SoC announcement for WP couple of months ago. Now they are available on the new low end Lumia to make dual SIM available on the platform.

I wonder how many people realize the SD800 and SD801 are THE SAME CHIPS. the SD801 is just clocked higher. Its not going to make a difference.
Or is everyone confusing the 801 with the 805, the chip that no one uses yet and is the one with actual improvements.

I know that 801 is an incremental uprgade over 800. But what I've read is 801 has 44% better image processor, so that will improve the camera. Yes no one uses 805. But by the time Lumia 930 is released, there will be devices with 805 processor
