Will AT&T allow Qi Wireless Charging on the Lumia 930?

That would depend on if they actually carry the 930 or not. As of right now the 930 is an international model, meaning AT&T has nothing to do with it.

I'm willing to bet that they did have something to do with it UNLESS Verizon has an exclusivity deal. The 920 was ATT first, international 2nd. I bet they want Nokia to strip it of Qi charging.

From what I heard in the Nokia event, Lumia 930 will not be available in the USA. It will launch in Europe this June and than gradually launch in India, China, etc.

I was hoping for later this year. Actually I was hopping for a new Lumina on AT&T this month, with QI Charging. But that will take a miracle.

I just signed the petition. Hopefully they do include the feature we haven't seen built-in Qi charging since the lumia 920, back in 2012. Previous devices like the Lumia 1520,1020 & 925 didn't include the feature. If they want a windows phone what will sell, don't water it down and make it look bad. AT&T please don't Alter Technology & Torture it!:angry::angry::angry:

Where the hell is the successor to the 920? I fully expected something to be announced with their supposed "premier partner" and nothing. I don't want a phablet so the 1520 is not an option. So is there anything coming to AT&T that will replace the 920 this year?

I feel your pain. While there's been no official word, I wouldn't bet against another flagship being launched before the year is out. By then we will have had our 920s for exactly 2 years. It could be the fabled "Goldfinger" that does appear to be in the works. Some say that'll be out by the holidays, others speculate "early next year." I don't know if this will be a 920-esque successor, but it does appear that it will have terrific specs.

This phone offers the perfect opportunity for Microsoft to offer a "pure" Windows Phone experience by including USA bands and selling them unlocked at Microsoft stores.
