Voice dictation on Icon

Has anyone else noticed how good the voice dictation is on the Icon? I've used a number of WP's and it's by far the most accurate. It has to be either the extra microphones or the processor. I can be in my car and have the radio on and window open and it almost always is accurate, except for the odd words. Anyhow, just one of the great improvements on the Icon.

well i wish I could say it was because of the Tellme technology (I used to work there), but i think it is really the microphones.
yesterday I was dictating a text msg while the train was pulling up...trains are LOUD...and it didn't miss a bit.
can't wait for Cortana

Noise canceling does help. But otherwise, the whole voice dictation on WP (even wp7.8) was fantastic and rarely missed.

Bing music recognition is also unbelievable on this phone. It can easily pick a song out of a noisy room, and can usually do it relatively quickly. I love it!

Yes, I've noticed it as well. Even with long and somewhat complicated strings of words for search. Its pretty awesome.

Brace yourself for the awesomeness of Cortana. I used to be officemates with the UI Designer and she is amazing.
