Hi..

Changed my region from India to United States in anticipation of using Cortana via WP8.1 update. However I noticed that my battery drained faster when the region was changed to US.
Useage had not changed .. Moderate useage - calls for about 45 mins to an hour, few text msgs, whatsapp, browsing & some wordament, google email syncing every hour, FB, twitter and used to end up with about 30% - 40% at the end of 18 - 19 hours on 2G network .. which I thought was not bad.. only 2 background task's - Insider & Volume

But since the change need to charge it twice a day..

Any idea..

Hey Kavita you can try to do a soft reset by holding down the volume down button + lock button until your phone vibrates and reboots itself (ignore the black screen to power off ). This will not erase any of your data from the phone. You may change back your region from USA to India if you feel your phone is draining battery. You may also try to calibrate your phone battery by completely discharging the battery and then let it charge till 100%.
