D'oh!!!!
Have had my 928 for right around a year now and yesterday I dropped it just right so as to crack the screen.
They're mainly along the left side of the screen so the phone is still usable, and everything seems to be in working order.
My dilemma, then: do I use the insurance now to have it replaced or wait a while?
I'd consider holding off if the 928 was approaching end of life; I know with the insurance they try replace with the same but if same is not available sometimes you get an upgrade, i.e. maybe they'd give me an Icon instead (I can dream, right?).
I'm guessing they'll have plenty of 928's on hand for some time with which to replace mine, but wanted to see if anyone knows.
So, does anyone know? Is end of life imminent for the 928? How long after do you think they'll be on hand for replacements via insurance? and are replacements refurbs or always new?
