Lumia 920 sudden battery issues

I love my 920 and I'm aware it doesnt have the BEST battery, but for the past few days it has lasted only a few hours with a full charge. This is with it on silent with me sitting in class or at work when I'm not even using the phone. Battery saver really doesn't even help too much. Are there any tricks I can try? Should I just buy a new battery online (it doesn't seem difficult to replace if I can get the tiny screws out)? Or should I perhaps find a new phone as this one is past warranty? Thanks.

Side note, are there any whisperings of an Icon coming to AT&T? Compared to the 920, all other phones available on AT&T are better in one area, while not as good in all others.

I would do a factory reset before trying anything else on it

Last time I did a factory reset it bricked, so I'm apprehensive.

using 6snap? I've seen several threads where users experienced massive drain after using 6snap

Uninstall ALL apps. Soft reset. see how it behaves.
