this is my first time posting and I was hoping someone might have answers for me.

I am looking to buy either a Lumia 1320 or 625 to replace my broken Lumia 820. I've found them to be the most reasonably priced LTE phones but when I went to my local store their editions had no LTE which baffled me.

I have nor checked whether or not the 1320 is the RM-994 version or not but I am quite sure that the 625 is only available as an LTE version.

if anyone asks yes my country has LTE at the 1800 band 3 (whatever that means)

TL;DR : wanna buy 1320/625 but couldn't find LTE in phone. WHY?

Well there is a version of the 1320 that has LTE on 1800MHz (see Nokia Lumia 1320 - Full phone specifications). As for the 625, GSMArena lists only one model and that model has LTE on 1800MHz (see: Nokia Lumia 625 - Full phone specifications).

So, you'll need to find the RM - 994 version of the 1320 to get LTE on 1800MHz. As for the 625, I can't explain why it wouldn't get LTE. Perhaps the store representative wasn't very knowledgeable or perhaps the information they had was wrong? If they allow returns, you may want to try it out and see.

I went to the store and pretty much did all I could. I even put my sim card into the phones and no LTE option comes out. and yes the 1320 was RM-994. I made the store people open them. I may just buy it then flash some compatible ROM.
