If you have more then 10 times as much saved up then no, buy a car instead. If you really want a bigger screen go for 1520, but only if you can find one for a more reasonable price. Can't you get it on amazon or something? 1020 (and 920, 925, 928 - same hardware) run WP just fine, they are still silky smooth and responsive. 1520 is too of course, but except for the bigger screen, performance upgrade is not worth so much money in my opinion. Most WP devices out there are still Lumia 520, so apps are written for cheap phones.

And if you really wanted one, you wouldn't be looking for reassurance on forums but would've probably bought one already by now. Just a thought. Here's another thought. Go the the store, get 1500$ in CASH!!!, put down the phone and the cash, one next to another. Which one would you rather have? This only works with CASH, cards are there to fool you into spending more, because it's much easier to swipe the card then to actually hand over such a large sum of paper.

$1500 for a phone is a lot where im from, im not sure if its different where you are. There are (not the best, but working) vehicles for that price. Personally, I'd keep the cash.

That's a LOT for a Smartphone. Here in the US, we would get a decent Surface Pro 3 :)

But I guess, it's all relative. I had the 1020, but then I wanted the faster phone and the one only one out there is the 1520, which I bought on Craigslist for $320 from another owner. I personally did not see much difference in the speed and the advantage of the quad core processor. But then, that's probably because I do not play any graphic intensive games.

Also, personally, I think one must use a BT headset with the 1520, as the phone is way too big to put it to the ear. I would feel silly doing that.

The screen on the 1520 is out of this world and it's great to watch videos. The camera is also amazing, but then it's a step down from the 1020.

Over all, the phone is great and if you really love BIG screens, then yes, this is a great phone. But for getting the job done, 1020 is equally good if not better.

I had no idea mobile phones cost a lot where you're from. I absolutely love my 1520. 20mp camera is nice. Plus, to edit photos on a larger screen and no lagging with quad core tucked inside inside. Also I'm running WP8.1 and it's runs flawless on my red 1520.

Do they have the 1520.3 or rm-938 where you're from?
