My 920 is now 5 months old, and I'm thinking of not using screen protector anymore (it's been there since day one). But I take it in and out of my pocket pretty often, so could it be a disaster?
Nothing stays in the same pocket, and my hands ain't oily. The screen protector is looking a little shabby now though.
There has been only one drop so far (and it's not caused by me), and I still clean the screen every week lol.
If you want a new screen protector for your Lumia 920 , please check this out :- Nokia Lumia 920 Screen Protectors - The WP Central Store
Nah, I'm now sick of seeing the border of the protector. It's no longer au naturel to me anymore lol
No. Don't take the screen protector off your 920. That glass doesn't scratch but the coating over it, does. And from appearances, it looks like any other scratch. If you have it protected, leave it on. If you have a cheap protector, invest in quality protection.
Rubino talked about this as well in one of his blogs. But, if that 3 months and almost scratch free video is enough proof, may the force be with you. I keep a constant vigil over what comes into contact with my phone and somehow, a scratch appeared.I've seen a video on pocketnow, after 3 months the screen is almost scratch-free.
Is there a good glossy (non rubber feeling) screen protector that covers the edges of the 920? I currently use the one from xtemeguard and it serves the purpose but the surface has a rubbery texture and feeling to it.
Dunno too. The previous one I used left the edges open, and doesn't look pretty.
