Lumia 920 getting intensively hot....

Hey users,
I have been experiencing this issue for quite sometime especially after 8.1 DP update. My Lumia 920 gets extremely hot, the upper side of phone sometimes even makes it difficult to handle the phone as it gets so much hot. Please give some solution as it is really annoying during browsing and playing games.

Mine has always done that while doing processor or graphically intensive apps and games.

yeah this was happening before 8.1 but i can say after 8.1 it has gotten worse

Yes even my 520 and my new 925 , they say is the data mode like 3g or 4g

Mine gets that way even when mainly using IE.

Lumia 920 is very well known for its heating issue. Sometimes it gets super hot even during handling easy task such as reading messages.

this is beacuse of using 3G or 4G network. Using Wifi is the only option to avoid this

I had huge problems before 8.1DP
Nowadays; it's far better for me fortunately

It might be due to Qi wireless charging plate.....

My 920 gets hot when transmitting data from either wifi or 4g.. When wifi or 4g is on the battery drains at 10-20 percent every two hours.. when they are deactivated it goes down 3-5 percent every two to four hours... ive done extensive testing. Its the wifi/4g data... I even had location services active. cortana was still checking my location every so often. I honestly think it's some kind of driver issue. I've tried turning off 4g and forcing 3g only but my phone has problems with its apn so I wasn't able to test that. I have been expeirincing higher battery drains in Wi-Fi standby then 4g..
8.0 got hot.. decent battery life
8.1 DP Hotter... Fast Drain
Lumia Cyan- Barely any difference
8.1 Update 1 Really hot/ fast drain..

On the flip side.... sitting next to my 920 is a 1020.. Running same software.. Still gets warm but nowhere near as close to the lumia.. the data management is ALOT better on it but it caused a mic issue :-(..
