moving photos to WP causes them to lose EXIF data

i recently broke my Lumia 920 and upgraded to the 1520... moving photos from my old phone to a windows laptop, then onto the new phone causes all the photos to have their EXIF data reset... so now all my photos from the last two years are listed as being taken on the day i transferred them...

looking for a way to reclaim the old data?

that doesn't involve skydrive... :angry:

That's weird, the EXIF data for pictures taken with a 810, 900, HTC Radar currently on my 920 still exists. This could be a bug with the update.
