hi, update for Ativ S owners!

back to gdr3 with grozaman's method, than go through to wp8.1 update 1! the registry keys which i used are in 8.1.1:

"phoneManufacturerModelName = " RM-976_1161 "
"PhoneFirmwareRevision" = " 02040.00019.14484.24002 "
PhoneMobileOperatorName" = " 000-PL " " Lumia 630 CV POLAND "

enable "fast ring" and go to settings-phone update. thats it!

Yes, instruction is very easy.

1. Flash CMJ1 ATO with official CSC-file (or unofficial, it's not important).
2. Simply update to WP8.1 with the latest 15.3.2 firmware.
3. Optionally you can do hard reset after update.
5. By using CustomPFD (or other registry editor) pretend Lumia (I pretend RM-1040_1021).
4. Go to the Windows Insider and choose fast ring.
5. Update phone to the Windows 10.
6. IT'S NECESSARY to do hard reset.

Hi. Today i received update notification about Windows Phone 8.1 (8.10.14219.341). I'm on PFD and my versions are: OS version is 8.10.14203.306 and FW 2424.13.11.2. Can i install it? Camera bug is still there :)

only issue: cant sign in my microsoft account.. do u have the same problem, or just i forgot something?!:)

ps. running well after hard reset:P

edit: now i can, so working well after 2 days. except the "camera" app, but the camera (hardver) is working with 6tag and any other camera app so its not painfull, battery is better than 8.1 for me at least...:)the xbox music app is crap(and freeze the touches while im using) so i use perfect music, and the live tile is working well.

I changed rm-value and fw revision to what bence and grozaman suggested, enrkolled fast ring but I 'm getting only 8.10.14219 lol
Maaan. I'm going to reflash it and start from beggining.

You should have DNI3 and ATO.

Hi! I also got the 14219.341 update prompt. I have FW 2424.15.3.2 (CSC ATO, from a few weeks ago).

Can anybody confirm that unlike in december, this pfd update will not cause a boot loop brick as the very same version did with the previous firmware (ATO with 8.1 camera fix, I believe it was 2424.14.9.3) ? I'm not installing anything until then because having to flash it was so annoying...

I can confirm it. I did the update. Now I have 8.10.14219.341 with FW 2424.15.3.2. My CSC is ATO.

2424.15.3.2 fw don t have bootloop issue, if yoy have this version you can update to .341 and above

СMJ1 is version of GDR3 firmware, you can download it in my archive.
ATO is CSC of Austria (I could be wrong, but it does not matter). This is CSC gets all updated almost always at first.

With CMJ1+ATO you will get ALL latest updates for our phone, specifically 8.10.14157 and f/w 2424.15.3.2. It's firmware solved ALL problems and bugs! ALL! Boot loops, camera bug, Bluetooth bug, etc.

Here guy from Russian forum post MANY screenshots from our ATIV S. Just open the spoiler and look (click on the button with those text "Скриншоты Windows 10 for Phones(много картинок)". He didn't set Russian Language in OS.

I am on FW 2424.15.3.2 and this morning I updated to OS 8.10.14219.341 (PfD and windows insider). Now an other update is ready to install, but don't know what it is. I don't dare to install it. It might be WP10, which I don't want, yet. It might also be GDR2, which is interesting. Just to let you know 😊

Hey, just wanted to post update. Thanks to grozaman and bence instructions, I successfully updated to W10 Preview, and enjoyed playing with it few hours, but now I'm getting 8.1.1 back. 10 is unusable for everyday (now) and generally I don't like the way it is developing, hamburger,spartan, etc. But that's another story...

I got several updates today on my Ativ S (I'm on PfD and WI) it seems to be only a preparation for W10 but can't get it nor can I get GDR2 so I'm a bit confused.
