Buying a used 1020. Bad timing?

Hey Everyone,
I'm currently using a 920 and I love it. It's great for what it does. I'm now looking at replacing it with a used 1020. Has there been any word if Microsoft is going to release a follow up device to the 1020? Just trying to limit my buyers remorse!

Most likely there will be a successor, people are rumoring it would be McLaren that should be due sometime this fall to my knowledge. That's just a rumor though and nothing official has been announced. People are saying though that the End of Life-thing for the 1020 could suggest that a successor would be on it's way soon.

I would think Nokia/MS would try to keep making the "ultimate camera phone" every now and then, it's a niche product but I think there is demand.

Honestly, id wait out until we know what 8.1 devices are planned to release in Fall/winter.
