GPS issues

hi, I have the icon and have experienced the GPS freezing up on me during a trip. This has happened both with here drive and waze.

Once it happened not five minutes into the trip, the other times were over an hour in. Has this occured to anyone else? if so, how did you correct it?

also, and this may be a stupid question ........... how do I shut down the here drive app? I am shutting off my location to close it noe, but I know there has to be another way

I'm running windows 8.0

My here drive has frozen on me multiple times. To close it down swipe up on the screen and choose to stop navigation then back out of the app or hold the back button and close it.

As noted below there is an issue with here drive and 8.1. It should be noted im on 8.1

I have never had Here Drive+ freeze up or crash on my Icon
I also used Waze for a while and no issues with it either.

On WP 8.1 there's issues with here drive+, freezing, crushing, and some time doesn't work correctly :/

Same experience. The gps lost signal and went offline multiple times during my trip. It just stuck there and need to wait for it to detect my current location.
