You my dear sir have won the internet for today xD
After reading the title,I was like "Goddamit, not again..." And after reading your post I was ROFL-ing
Seriously though, you deserve a medal xD

P.S:I still think 530 will be a flop,no,wait, don't get me wrong. Not because of the ram but because of the 4GB internal, not too appealing, probably means people'll have to get a 16GB SD card. And 4GB internal doesn't sound too appealing in developing countries, trust me.

The phone is not for everybody. I'm sure all of you are waiting for the 730 which should have 1 gb ram, snapdragon 400, hd screen, flash , front facing cam eccetra. (Basically a moto g on wp) but you guys just need to be patient.

I don't know what Microsoft is thinking, but they should include 2GB of RAM, an octacore processor, 1080p and a 50mp camera and price it for AT LEAST $50 otherwise this thing will fail on the market. I mean, I can walk into Walmart and buy a $200 Dell laptop that can play Crysis 3 at 4K 60fps 360 no-scrope any day, why can't Microsoft lose money on a product so I can spend less money!!!! Did I get that about right?
Ok lets go over this just once more. L530 has Adreno 302 while L520 has Adreno 305. L530 has only 4gb memory while L520 has 8gb memory. L530 has a fixed focus camera while L520 has autofocus. L530 can only record videos upto wvga(854*480) while L520 can record upto 720p. L530 has normal LCD display while L520 has IPS LCD L530 is thicker than L520 And to add salt to the wound/insult to injury L530 will be more expensive than L520. Now if this phone was called L430 or L420 and priced lower than L520 then it would have been fine but as it stands now L530 is a really poor value proposition as L520/525 are much better not to mention Moto E is also much better. When L520 came out last year it took the world by storm and so did Moto E this year but L530 forget improving on L520 it instead downgrades the specs and slaps a higher price. This does not bode well for future of MS phone division and windows phone ecosystem.

So to sum it up, Microsoft needs to stop making such kind of weird-*** decisions.

Lol,$50 for that spec.
I think maybe msft should fill up asha line since they fired people on them.
So this phone have a duty to fill that, but i dont know this phone even released yet.
When this phone priced $50 with no contract, that will be different.

LOL Yup. Sums it up pretty well. Also, their next phone better come with holographic projections for 20?. Otherwise no one will buy it!

Since the 630 has 512, did anyone expect this to have more? I think all should have >= 1 GB though.

Is it really worth it to hamstring the version that most new users will get? So that the world at large will perceive WP like they did Android back when Android came out on a lot of laggy cheap phones? It should be more important to improve the OS's image in general than to try and get people to buy a nicer version they can't afford.

hahahaha... now, my comment:

Well, there is a good reason that explains the 512 MB: support. In fact, the new models with "low" RAM ("low", since I have a Nokia E6 with half of RAM, and it?s awesome), are great news for existing devices (520, 620, 625 and 720), because MS will keep pushing updates, and pressing the dev's for better App optimization.
In my opinion, by launching 512 MB of RAM devices, MS is avoiding the WP7-WP8 scenario.
