Notification when sending attachments i.e, photos

I have a very stupid question. I get notifications that my text messages without attachments get sent to the specific number. The ones I send with attachments ... no notifications. Is this correct? I have a Nokia 635. Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.

Not a stupid question at all! The Messaging app has settings to turn this off that should take care of it.
