Should I Trade in my 920?

I haven't used my 920 in a long time mainly because I have other phones and the 920 is too heavy.
The Microsoft store will only give me $45 for it. Am I crazy to trade it in for the 635? I like the fact that it already has 8.1 but I don't like that it only has 512 MB of RAM. While I do not play any games, do you think I'll have any issues with the lack of RAM?

Also, how is the 5MB camera?

Thanks for your comments.

What sort of condition is the 920 in? If its on its last legs the decision is different.

I really like the 630 but it's a definite downgrade from the 920 which will be getting 8.1 and Cyan soon anyway.

If the 920 is in decent condition, then you'd be better off selling it.

Also, consider other devices, like the 620, 820, 925... which are mostly better than the bottom-of-the-bargain-bin 630.

There's nothing wrong with the 635, it's a good phone. 4G LTE, 128 micro SD card ability, gorilla glass 3, 8.1 and Cyan out of the box, it looks and feels great. Ultimately if you want one and it fulfills your needs then go for it.

If it is any consolation, I have a 925 and 1020. I have the same complaint...just big and bulky. Picked up the 635 and it is perfect for what I do but now I have the option of 128GB SD Card to put my music on without worries of using up all my space.

Holding out to on using my upgrade until the new phones in the fall. But I love the 635..

Incorrect about the processor. Dual core in 920 is more powerful as it is a krait. The 635 is a snap dragon 400. Check benchmarks of both, dual core def comes out on top.

My 920 is in Excellent condition. That's another reason that makes it hard to decide.

Thanks.

If you don't want the 920 you should sell it, don't trade it in for $45, that's a rip off. If you have other phones and want a WP just to play with then why not get a 635? You shouldn't have to put much to the money you get from selling the 920. It might not make sense to others but that doesn't matter. Do what makes you happy.

It's not significantly more powerful, especially in terms of real-world usage (some things feel snappier on my 635 than they did on my 920). Keep in mind, the 920 uses an S4 Plus, the successor for which is the Snapdragon 400.
