Need to downgrade to WP 8.0 on DP'd 1520.2 RM-940 to get WP 8.1?

I think, while there is lots of information here, and people try to keep it organized, I find it impossible to get the correct information I need or find it posted anywhere.

I have a real AT&T 1520.2 RM-940, unlocked (I own it), and am in the US.

I read AT&T US 1520 users with real 1520.2 are now getting real WP 8.1 + Cyan. Correct?
I unlocked my phone through AT&T (I own it), will that affect me getting WP 8.1?
I (like most everyone) have WP 8.1 DP. I also read that the block from MS allowing DP phones to be upgraded has been removed. True?

So, basic question...do I need to downgrade to 8.0 t0 get the released WP 8.1 + Cyan Update?

So far, I have been checking Phone Update and no updates.

Unlocking your phone has no effect on updates. Are you checking the Nokia site to see if your phone is ready for update?

Availability in North America - Nokia

It says 1520 is available so... ?

Thanks for the response. According to the forum sticky here, it shows:

UPDATE 2014/07/18: The update has been suspended due to an issue with Bitlocker. It will resume soon.

Then on 2014/07/26 it shows:
UPDATE 2014/07/26: The update has been resumed.

To me, that says MS has removed the block keeping Developer Previewers from getting the real 8.1 + Cyan.

That's what I'm trying to understand. Also, I read something that in the US, AT&T is releasing 8.1 region by region. I'm in S. California. Others in CA getting 8.1 + Cyan?
