Loss of volume on nokia 635

I bought the Nokia 635 a week ago and the only issue that I have is that I lose the volume on the ringtones after the phone screen times out. Then you need to do a soft boot. My screen has to be on all the time so that I can hear the phone ring or text message. Does anyone have this same issue?
I hope Nokia or Microsoft have a software update for this problem.

Try turning Cortana on and off. I had something weird like that happen and instead of soft reset that seemed to help.
