IE seems a little slow WP 8.1 1

I noticed it was slow to load sites on wifi for 8.1 but I expected some improvements with Update 1. Still seems slow if not more so. Its not super slow, but it seems to take a second or so longer than it should. Dont know if its the OS or the Wifi of the phone.

I haven't had the same experience. Mine has been at least twice as fast to load pages. Some that it would never load properly at all, pre update. Not sure what the difference is. Do you have cyan?

Update - After using IE for a while I've run into a problem. Some sites won't load at all. These sites at least loaded before the update.

I noticed the same issue on my 1520 after GDR1 update.
Especially our beloved WPCentral website, it seems Slower now.
I preset IE to load all websites in mobile mode but WPCentral stubbornly load in desktop mode.
Hope WPCentral people note this issue !!!
