How to get cyan update from overseas phone

Hello,

So I got my 1520 from overseas because it was

• unlocked
• cheaper and
• unavailable in my country.

Now my problem is how do I get the CYAN update, I have black installed and preview for developers.
I understand its available in some countries and in others its still under testing.

The update is based on the country and/or carrier version of the ROM on your phone model. For example, if you have a 1520 with a Hong Kong variant ROM, you'll get the update when it rolls out to the 1520s with Hong Kong ROMs. It makes no difference what carrier's SIM card you're actually using, your location, or if it doesn't even have a SIM card in it and is only on WiFi. The update is totally based on the ROM version.

I read before that you had to downgrade to wp 8 from DP to get Cyan and the official 8.1, I actually did that and got the cyan update on my 1520 a few days ago, also, if you have the HK CV I read on another post that 8.1 was already available for it.
