1520.3 on AT&T, Get new SIM or use a Cutter

1520.3 on the way from B&H. On AT&T with Family Value Plan. Internet sharing works fine on my 920.
Have access to a nano sim cutter, used it before and it works fine.
Should I get a new sim from the AT&T store or cut the one that is in the 920. Why?
Want internet sharing to continue to work.

I would cut it just for convenience.

If Internet Sharing is not included in your plan it will not work anymore if you upgrade to Cyan, even if you keep using the same sim card. (I don't know if the plan you mention includes it or not).

If your plan does include Internet Sharing should continue to work just fine after the Cyan upgrade.

In my case I had Cricket. Internet Sharing worked on my 920.

When I got my L1520 last week I cut the sim and put it in my new L1520. Internet Sharing worked just fine until I upgraded to Cyan. Cyan actually hides the option to turn on Internet Sharing if your plan does not include it.

Ended up switching to GoPhone (AT&T) that includes Internet Sharing as part of their plans and have had no issues.
