Unfortunately, a friend decided to yank my legs into the pool and my Lumia 1020 took a dip with me into about 3 feet of water. It is still drying and under a bowl of rice. I tried plugging it in a few hours ago and it will not turn on. When I plug in however, the home button blinks rapidly, vs intermittently while it charges. I don't know the fast rapid blinking means and I have tried searching. Does anyone know? I hope that I can still revive it.

No idea what it means but I wouldn't risk trying to charge and turn on the phone. Let it dry even more maybe a day or two. It might work then, right now you'll just kill it

You need to leave it in a bag of rice for at least a week to ensure its dried out completely, then try turning it on.

I am anxious and only gave it a day because I read some ppl's worked after a day or two. I will give it a week and allow it to dry out completely. Thanks!
