Suddenly display settings and motion data setting stopped opening

Hi

Since I couldn't found any previous posts related to this, let me ask if someone knows something. I'm not even sure that this is 930 related or the OS itself but those settings cannot be opened anymore. When I tap one the screen goes black and then it just returns to Settings. There was a similar problem with Nokia Camera which I've solved with uninstall/install but I cannot uninstall part of Settings, right? Any suggestions?

Setting the date to 2030 allows you to uninstall the display app for example if that's what you want.

I meant display settings (settings->display) and motion data settings (settings->motion data). Both of them won't open. Just black screen and return to Settings.

The same thing happens for me. I can no longer open display settings on my 925.

It happened to my 1520 as soon as I updated to Cyan. I did a hard reset to fix it :/

you really don't need to. Like dengwinters said, just set the date ahead a few decades and attempt to open the app, it will prompt you to uninstall it. Then get the links to it via sysapp pusher or another app like it and reinstall them.
