Lumia Cyan update OTA for Preview for developers users has been temporarily halted due to the bitlocker issue. The best way would be to use Nokia Software Updater for Retail and install cyan with it and then re-install the GDR1 update OTA with Preview for Developers.

I am using Nokia software recovery tool , which already shows that you can update lumia 620 to lumia cyan 3058.50000.1425.0001
can i go with this ?

What about the Data Backup recovery?

Use NSU to get Cyan -> Don't do recovery from Backup BUT instead Install Preview for Developers and get the update -> Hard Reset to get recovery from Backup

Yep. That's the Cyan Update!

Yep. Precisely what I did except that I chose not to restore my backup apps and settings and instead started afresh

And nw after updating to cyan i cant update to Update 1 through PFD.
I hav the PFD app & its enabled. When checking for updates it shows "we are currently unable to check for updates (80072ee2)"..
And when i disable the PFD app it shows ur phone is upto date..
any solution for this..
please help.

This error code shows error in connectivity, disconnect your wifi and delete the wifi credentials, add them again. This worked for me.

No change.. Deleted the wifi acc.. Rebooted my phone and again connected to wifi..
Still showing the error.. Sid u face the same issue.. have u updated to update 1?

Yeah, I faced the same issue and I successfully updated to update 1.
Try keeping your phone on charging.

I have the same problem. The 'phone updates' thing says that my phone is up to date while the website says the Cyan is available. Is it okay to use NSRT to install the Cyan. Do I need to take any precautions or will it happen just as smoothly when I installed Lumia Black OTA? Will I have to upload everything on the One Drive before attempting the update?

No problem for updating via NSRT.. it will wash all your data in your phone.. So keep back up - "Settings -> backup"
And the software is about 1.5GB, so it will take its time to download.. for installing it will took only 5 minutes..

Thanks for your reply. I will rather wait for OTA install and keep my data safe. Uploading 4 GB of stuff on one drive and then re-installing the data and then the apps sounds ominous. OTA keeps everything intact right?
