the Lumia 800 and 900 had the same CPU, the Lumia 820 and 920 had the same CPU - why is it rumored that the Lumia 830 doesn't have the same CPU as the Lumia 930?

This Lumia 830 is total crap, low/low-medium budget phone, it really has no reason to exists since we already have 630 and 730 with same CPU.

So, we windows phone users don't have a true flagship (930 is no flagship without sd and glance) and all the other models are just budget phones. I'm really considering some Android right now, and i'm not happy about it

They make a nearly ideal package. I really was starting to wonder where the salt is.

And than - tataa - MS/Nokia come up with a S400 SoC!

Taht's insane and makes me cry. Do they really think they sell more because they take 10-15$ less over the SoC??? That totally kills the package in every way. Especially if you consider you buy this phone for at least 2 years. If you by a 630 or a Moto G you are fine with such a SoC, but why, why put the same SoC, slower than the 820/920s in a 2014 device???

Wow after seeing that confirmed photo, my heart just sank. Wow. Just. Wow.
Now the only thing i can hope and maybe wishful thinking? is that the 830 is available in different variants, although, i have a strong feeling that all hope is lost. I'll just have to wait for the 930's price to drop. UGH i am so pissed right now. Not even a 20mp camera can justify that processor.

Or.. at least.. a Lumia 835 variant with SD800 and better camera..
Or.. a real flagship device announced tomorrow!

But my "realistic nature" just bring me back to this, where MS\Nokia is leaving some huge crap evidence in every single devices they release
630: no front camera, no flash
730: selfie phone without dedicated camera button
830: crap cpu
930: no glance, no sd, no intercambiable covers

the hell? please, just do it right once, one single time, do a single hero device and we will be happy

I would honestly rather set my hands on fire than to pay $300 or more on a device with a mediocre screen resolution, mediocre camera, and below average phone performance. This was just a big slap in the face.

This is so true and such a shame. I'm sitting here with my Lumia 620 and would love to switch to something better, but with MS/Nokia's screwed up Lumia lineup, they're giving me a hard bet.
