When I use my T-Mobile branded Lumia 635 with the $3/month (30 minutes/30 texts included) PAYG plan, I can not send or receive texts. It says "Can't send: try again".
This is after they changed their PAYG to the $3/month (30 minutes/30 texts included) one, when it was a straight PAYG before it worked fine, and it works when I switch to the $2 or $3 per day plans.

Has anyone experienced this on their Lumia 635 or other phones since they changed the plan? I talked to T-Mobile and they say everything looks correct, the account allows texting etc. I have called them twice about this, but nothing has been done so far. For now I'm back to using the $2/day plan, but this is wasting money since I don't use this phone that much.

    Any help would be appreciated!

try turning off wifi. I've had this problem with my 925 running dev preview, and turning off wifi seemed to fix it.

Turning off WiFi makes no difference (and it works with with WiFi on when using with a different plan than PAYG), but thanks for the suggestion.

When you say "this problem", are you referring to having this problem on the PAYG plan only as I am?

Sorry for the late response, but we're not on the PAYG plan. The problem we've had is the sms or mmms text won't send when the wifi is on.

Thanks. Yeah, I turned off Wi-Fi just to test and it still didn't work, but works fine on other plans. I'm not sure what is going on. :/

Just in case someone happens upon this thread, whatever was going on must have been on T-Mobile's side because it's fixed now! The $3/month for no data but 30 minutes/30 text messages ($0.10 per additional minute/text) works again as it's supposed to. :) Great deal if you have a young child that uses the phone on Wi-Fi only and doesn't text or call much but wants the ability do to so occasionally.

The same thing happened with me but I have found the solution go to sittings swipe to applications and go to massaging scroll down and change the SMS number to your phone number and it's going to work
