For US customers, as I said in the other thread, I expect this to be $299 or less on AT&T (meaning off contract, but locked to AT&T). That is a very fair price for what it is, imo.

It's actually been there since the beginning of the week. I figured Ebay is one of the first places people check.

It's tempting, but I'm uncomfortable with it being opened with no original packaging and some accessories not included.

This open-box phone without original packaging started at $375 to start the week. It was at $375 earlier today as well. Ever since the WP Central article it's gone up in steady $5 increments. Now up to $400 lol.

I'll definitely be waiting on a regular, brand new, unopened Lumia 830, and in a different color.

And it is a prototype since it has Lumia Debian Red firmware on it and not Lumia Denim.

I just got mine in today. I can confirm it works on T-Mobile, LTE, internet sharing, and everything. I'm pleased. My 925 seems a bit outdated.

Well, i just pulled the trigger on this version from the above listed eBay seller. I paid an extra 25$ to get it by this friday. I'm so excited!!!!!

Read around. A fellow member called nokia and was told that as soon as the phone/firmware is officially released oct/nov the prototypes can be updated just like a new device.

The ebay company truedigital, who were selling the 830 RM-985 unlocked prototypes were robbed and no longer have stock, at this point, of the devices. This was unfortunate for the price had dropped to 359.00 before the appeared robbery happened. I know because I had ordered one and then two days later, was refunded, (yes, i checked my bank) and was told by truedigital that they were robbed overnight. So in other news, the new windows phone has finally become hot.

I think AT&T has been the best so far for Windows Phone, i wouldn't doubt them.
