I got a refurb 1020 on warranty. When I charged it the first time, in the battery infos, it said that the last time the phone was charged was 587 days ago.

Now my battery life is half what I had before with my previous 1020.

Will the battery come around by using the phone or will I have to change my battery? Or is there a technique I can use to "reset" the battery?

    Just bit off topic
1020 is about 14 months old. it doesn't make 587 days :) maybe you have wrong date on your phone

Well it's what I thought but it really displayed 587 days. I think that phone has been on the shelf for a long time without use; when I got it at the store it was dead.

This is normal for new devices. I remember when I bought L520 it showed me no charge for 180 days and the fact was the device was launched just a week ago.

OK, and now what for the battery? Do I change it or wait or else?
