Really considering just buying an RM-984 variant even though I won't get LTE. There are no RM-985 variants available, except for the prototypes being sold on Ebay with broken Glance :(

The SG$529 includes taxes. If you are a tourist and departing from the Changi airport, you will be refunded 6% of that total amount.

I just got mine delivered (from TrueDigital on ebay), setting it up now. Appears to get AT&T LTE in NYC -- and somehow my **** poor job of cutting my sim card to fit actually worked.

RM-985. I am in the processing of restoring everything. I'll put it through its paces in about 30 minutes or so.

Please let us know if Glance works fully. Another user on this forum ordered the RM-985 and found out it was a prototype with broken Glance.

I got mine on Saturday and can tell you truthfully... its an EXCELLENT device!
The fell of it is 100% premium. The build is solid yet light! The screen is massive but doesn't "feel" massive in the hand (which is great).
The camera so far is excellent! I was very concerned about the lower end CPU in it but after having it for the past 2 days I can tell you without a doubt you can put your worries to rest.
The device is fast and super responsive. From off to camera in under 2 seconds. Put it side by side with my Lumia 925 and it easily bested it and best part about it... NO HEAT!
My 925 would heat up so fast playing any heavy games (Spiderman Ultimate, Tower Defense, NBA Jam, etc...), the 830 barely gets warm after over an hour of play. Truly LAWV this device, PLUS I got it 2 months before it comes out in the US which is also cool because people at work are extremely jealous lol.

Some pics of my new phone and my old iPhone going up for sale today :) The pictures of my phone were taken with a Lumia 1520 and the pictures of my iPhone plus the other 3 were taken with my 830. In my opinion, the 830 did better.

Glance is NOT working out of the box (its just hanging), however there are updates being downloaded to the display, + extra + info apps. I'll let you know if that changes anything.

PS -- after having a 920, then living with a 635 for six weeks, this is a great, premium feeling phone. I know there is a lot of poo-pooing about the CPU, but I after handling it, I really like this phone.

I would have to agree on the feel. The biggest worry I had going in was the display. I love my 920 and I had bought a 925 because it was thinner and lighter, but the pentile display (and 16gb limit) always made me switch back to the 920. But so far this display looks really nice and I cant wait to test the camera some more. Just waiting on my Sim cutter to arrive...come on UPS.
