How big is the chance that the Nokia Lumia 830 will get Windows 10?

I am thinking about buying a Nokia Lumia 830 to replace my Huawei Ascend W1. Although if the Nokia Lumia 830 is gonna lose support like the Huawei Ascend W1 when Windows 10 comes out I won't buy any Windows Phone anymore. What is your advice to me?

Didn't Microsoft say all Nokia Lumias will continue gaining support until the 36 month period is over ? If so the lumia 830 should support it

The Ascend W1 is hardly the model of support.

The chance is, as far as cell phones go, about as big as the 1320

but actually though, we could throw around probabilities and flip coins all day, but at the end, we don't know until we have official news.
there's confirmation of a Windows 10 preview for phones next year, and it wouldn't make too much sense if it only appeared for some new phone to be released between now and then.

As a frame of reference, you are comparing a first party upper-tier product (Lumia 830) with a second party entry-level product (Huawei Ascend W1).

The Lumia 830 support and quality will be significantly higher any Huawei product.

Wow, Yea, the odds are pretty high that MOST WP 8.1 devices COULD support Windows 10 but, remember, it will be up to carriers and that is something I would not "Absolutely guarantee" it...

Yea, for a new phone chances are always VERY high but, there is always that one question....

Sure it will get it in the DP form 1000% if MS releases it....
