SIM card thickness

My 930 is due tomorrow. My current phone is a Note3 with microsim.

I have converted a couple of microsim cards to nano size. In the iPhone 5 a converted microsim is slightly too thick and a sand the label side a bit.

Is the tray on the 930 the same i.e will it need a converted sim sanding a bit thinner?

Was using a micro SIM on the 920 - I cut it with one of the cheapo nano SIM cutters off eBay and it works fine on my 930

I had to sand my micro sim down for the 930 nano sim, yep

I'm going to regret asking this, but why not just ask your carrier for the correctly sized SIM?

I am not at home for the next 2 weeks and my carrier will not send to a hotel - citing security reasons.

I can practice on an old sim from another network I no longer use

With iphones I always had to sand down the thickness of the sim after cutting for Iphone but when doing it for the 1520 (I'm assuming the card tray is the same or very similar to the 930?) I only needed to cut it and it fitted the tray without sanding
