Since I've installed the 8.1.1 update my Lumia sporadically - up to twice a week - reboots on its own.
It always happens on the home screen: suddenly an app won't open, even if the "tile press animation" plays. The homescreen also won't scroll. Then, the airplane mode icon appears and the phone reboots.
Has anyone experienced this?
P.s. (warning: rant): I'm disappointed at just how unpolished and unfinished is the software. Both Nokia-specific software, WP OS and apps that never get out of beta (like Facebook Beta) or are maintained by third parties (like... Facebook Beta!). And, making me most angry, Microsoft apps which are crippled with respect to their iOS and Android siblings (like WP Skype and WP Remote Desktop which are dumbed-down versions).
After having owned, years ago, an HTC WP 7.5 I was expecting much better. It was more polished and finished then.
