I had read somewhere a while ago, though can find no other source now, that the microSD card slot on the 1520 is only a 8GB Transcend (Class 4) device, so it's pretty slow and using one of the higher end, faster cards, would just be a waste of money.
Anyone know for sure ?

Thanks,
Fred

People have reported different "read" speeds, using different class SD cards, using sad card speed reading app in the market place. Some very fast, some slow.

I have a PNY 16GB class 10 U1 and my "read" speed is between 10-12mbs.

So imo, it does make a difference.

I've had troubles with an SDXC class 10 but my SDHC class 10 is flawless. Pin legacy compatibility seems to be an issue too.

How did you compute "read" speeds ?

Thanks,
Fred
