My lumia 1520 is freezing

So I recently gave my 1520 away to someone and it keeps freezing randomly. It never did that with me before. Like literally freezing every few minutes and what not. I never had that issue with my 1520 and now they are having this issue and idk what could be causing it. I know a factory reset may fix it but I want to know if there are any other suggestions.

Sigh on a side note I miss my 1520 lol. Using this 6 plus while not bad makes me miss it. lol.

Nope. It is a mostly a clean install. A few apps and what not.

Well then if the memory is not nearly used up (my wife's 1020 goes crazy when she about fills all the memory with photos) then I would first do a soft reset and if that doesn't work a hard reset.

I think it has been a hardware issue and I am call for a replacement
