Lumia 925 2nd Mic not working after update?

Hey guys, I was wonder if any one has a problem with there 2nd mic not working after update to 14219 for dev prev? For some reason I find that when I use speaker phone or cortana the 2nd mic isn't working. No one can hear me from the 2nd mic in Skype or phone call and cortana doesn't receive anything when I active the speech. I've tested the microphone via care suite and its showing up with an x. Phone is in perfect condition, no water contact, no harm to the phone. I take really good care of it.

Same issue with 1020 since a few days/weeks. Any solution?

This is a common hardware failure problem on the 925. You can send it in for service if under warranty or buy a new headphone jack/Mic assembly from ebay.

Got the phone fixed at local Nokia Care center. Initial estimate was Rs.1700 and then revised to Rs.7000 but after contacting some people and involving higher-ups, got it done at Rs.1100.
My folks are thoroughly pissed with Nokia/MS now. And I was planning to buy my parents a 535 each.
