L830 worth it?

Hi everyone. I am looking for some opinions here, my budget is going around 350$ and I am interested in buying an unlocked phone.

Lumia 920 is priced at 209,99$ in Amazon while the L830 is at 334,97$. So almost a difference of 125$.

My question is, is it worth it?

I know the L830 is a newer model while the L920 is older,

Would love to hear what you guys think!

I finally got my girlfriend to switch from an iPhone, and the 830 was the phone she chose. She loved Apple, and that's all she had used since the first iPhone. She tried ave played with alot of phones but really liked what the 830 offered....affordable, great camera, built in wireless charging, great screen. I've played around with hers and can say that it is snappy, no lag.

I do think that the Lumia 830 is a better choice than the 920. The price though is a different story. You can get it from another site for about $307. PM me and I can help you out.

I had a 920 for 2 years and am super happy with my new 830. Go for the upgrade, it is worth the price difference! There are many reasons, you won't regret it ;-)

Faster, better camera, longer software support. 920 is a two year old device - don't expect too much.

Price is too high. Microsoft needs to take a look around. The Asus ZenFone 2 is coming out at $200. The 830 has no business being $330 - $450.

What are you comparing exactly? There will be a ZenFone 2 for 200USD, but that won't be the one with the big specs. And there's more that makes up a device than just a few basic specs. Sure the 830 is too expensive in most places (mostly USA) but outside of USA it's more appropriately priced.

Anyway, the 920 and 925 aren't worth buying anyway. They're too old, bad batteries and a load of other issues that the Lumia 830/735 solved. I'd pick a 735/830. But since the 930 seems to be dropping in price still, that may be a very solid option too. The 830 will be better in all ways compared to a Lumia 920 though. Justifies the price difference.

Above anything, Amazon looks like a real mess to me when it comes to Lumia's. Maybe there's other sellers with better prices somewhere.
