It is worth waiting for Denim OTA...rather than landing in issues with DP I feel

Been using the DP on my 920 and there are some features you get with the DP that don't come on the 830. I immediately signed my 830 up for DP and haven't looked back, no issues at all.

Not me. I have a Lumia 830 with Bell Canada. Right now I'm running on WP10 TP.

I've talked to the technical support from Bell yesterday and from what they told me they didn't get the update yet from MS. So I tweeted LumiaCanada and asked them if they had any information and as always they told me to be patient, provided me the link for their website for updates.

I've told them that since MS said that Denim would be out to every phone by the end of March we should at least get it then. They replied that hopefully this will happen.....now another waiting game without any info...

Yeah. I was tempted, briefly, to contact Fido and ask, but knew it would be pointless.

I'm still frustrated as he'll with how this has been handled my MS. Ah well....

No North American or Latin American variants have received the update as of this post. Now that I actually have a stable 830 though I'm not as impatient to receive Denim. I thought I was on an unstable ROM before, but it turned out that the phone had a hardware defect.

Really, I just want it for stability with auto-restarts (mostly related using facebook messaging). I'm on 8.10.14157.200--can I get Full Denim through PfD? Thanks to anyone who can answer this, there seems to be conflicting accounts so far.

EDIT: PfD gives me 8.10.14219.341--I believe that's Full Denim (with the stability fix?)

I am sure that when the Denim update comes along there will be instructions whether to disable PfD or not. For the 1520 I've seen Daniel post that you need to disable PfD (however, that came from Cyan). That was not posted with Denim updates for L830s though, as far as I am aware. We will find out when it comes out.

I see...I activated PfD and am getting some update, though I'm not sure which one. I guess I'll post the number.

PfD only gives you OS updates. "Full Denim" includes firmware updates that are sent separately from OS updates.

That said, installing Pfd fixed my wireless stability and random reboots. Still waiting on "full denim" firmware update for Lumia Camera and Netflix fixes.
