How do I fix video timestamps that are off/inaccurate?

Lumia Storyteller video timestamp off/inaccurate

Now, I can't remember if this was a problem before Denim update.

Since the Denim update, and hard resetting my phone because of the auto-rotate/accelerometer problem, I've noticed that videos, for me, are timestamped 8 hours behind. I'm also in a time zone of +8h so the videos could equally be recorded in GMT.

Especially noticeable when taking a mix of photos and videos and view them in Lumia Storyteller, things are out of sequence.

Firstly, is anyone else experiencing the same?
Secondly, if anyone knows how to rectify the time stamp of videos, it would be much appreciated to get this right.

I just checked it on my 930 (denim) with lumia camera 5.
Photo's and video's have the correct time stamp. (if I check them with the file app and look to the time under the file name).
(I don't use Cortana and did not change my Region)

I've just verified your findings also. In "Files" the .mp4 files have the correct date and time stamp.
Looks like the problem might be with Lumia Storyteller.
Can you check whether Storyteller shows the same info? Tap on the video while it's playing through Storyteller to see its reported date and time.

Just did (first had to install it)

In storyteller the time of the video is indeed wrong. I made it at 10.13 and according story teller it was 9.13.
The time of the photo was correct.
My date and time is set to auto
And time zone (UTC+1, Amsterdam, ........)

So indeed a bug in storyteller.

Thanks, updated the topic to correctly reflect Lumia Storyteller rather than Lumia Camera 5.

I find photos displayed from Storyteller to be much better than Photos app. They're sharper and you can zoom in more. Hence, why I only initially checked Storyteller only.

Thanks for the update.

I actual only checked with Files because I do not use storyteller.
But to pinpoint a bug it helps if you can compare/ double check and that is what you did.

Lets hope they fix this bug soon.
Maybe you can add this bug in the review page of the app in the STORE so other people can see it.

Yes, certainly did.

Had to take my comments/reviews off Lumia Camera 5 and put it in the correct Storyteller app.
But, still not publicised in the review section yet. Seems to take a while!
