Can I switch Carriers with this "Global Phone"?

I have the SPRINT version of the ATIV S Neo. When my contract is up, I'm strongly considering switching to a pre-paid plan like AT&T GoPhone or T-Mobile's Uncarrier or something... Since the ATIV S Neo supports a SIM Card and is considered a "global phone" (unlike most of Sprint and Verizon's other CDMA phones), can I get the phone unlocked and take it with me? Or is the SIM card only for the LTE features, and the rest of the phone still CDMA?

Anybody know?

You might want to check it out with a friend's SIM card if they are on ATT or TMO or a GSM MVNO. With Sprint, you never know what is going on with their phones. Good luck.
