I've had my 1520 since December 2013 and due an upgrade toward the end of the year. I'm starting wonder if MS are going to take another punt at the high end market or simply continue to build and release low end devices. A quick scan over windows phone news articles over the past couple of months would suggest the lower end market is the one Microsoft are interested in. I appreciate Windows 10 is with us soon and wondered if anyone had heard about a high end windows phone in the works?

I think I'd find it tough to go back to a "standard" phone size after using the 1520 for this long. Hopefully MS will stick with the phablet (God, I hate that word) and develop something in the 5.5 - 6" range

The 1520 has the same resolution as the 930, just the 1520 has reduced PPI. You get all the same detail and space on a 930 but you can put it in any pocket and you get amoled lovelyness. The extra size of the 1520 screen is only useful if you've not updated your glasses in a while. Of course there are other benefits to a big phone, such as unusually huge battery size, but the screen on the 930 is certainly no downgrade.
