I think I might try software recovery, I've got nothing to lose since I haven't done much with the phone since my hard reset. I'll let you all know how it goes if I do it.

Guys just go for the Recovery tool way, the back up restore is not bad and you will get denim and start focusing on something else like me. I should say that highlight feature of Hey Cortana doesn't work that very good. You have to tell it to activate many times before it actually activates. I am in Australia.

I have decided to wait for the OTA update. That is annoying news to hear as I too am in australia. Though Im sure I can come up with a mock American accent (Though Im not sure which type) to get it to understand.

Somebody WITHOUT PFD and the same problem? I was talking with Lumia Help in Twitter and they blame PFD (BTW they said that it must to be enabled). Maybe if somebody brings me some information i can tell them about this annoying problem. I'm not saying that it will work, but trying is free.

I found an interesting thing, checking the about page. I have a firmware number: 02061.00066.14253.40004
I found that it's the hungarian country varian cyan firmware. When I'm checking the device specific update page on my phone, shows this firmware number, and tells me that only cyan is available. Based on the extras, I have the HK country variant device(RM-937_apac_hong_kong_222). Both hungarian cv, both hong-kong vc is listed as denim. I don't know what happens at MS, but this is rubbish. Being forced to check a tracker, check if its a country variant or not, what is the firmware, what is the os, waiting for an update for months... bad user experience.

Yeah I know, I changed the region and everything back when Cyan came out. I am not expecting it to be perfect given that Im not doing what Microsoft intends

Wow, that's the exact firmware number I have. And same problem: HK model 1520, PfD off, listed as ready for Denim since last Friday, and no OTA.

I too have the same number... Even the support guy I spoke to suspected nothing and thought I had Hong Kong. Im so confused. 02061.00066.14253.40004 is my number, Manufacturer name is RM-937_apac_hong_kong_222 and Operator is 000-HK. Where did you get your L1520 from if you don't mind me asking?

Can anyone clarify anything for me? What should I be looking out for, so i do not count as part of HK CV?

Yep, I have turned off PfD by now, but I did install the DP a while back.

02061.00066.14253.40004 is a firmware number of the 1520, as a lots with 02061.00066.14253.400xx. The last two numbers don't neccesary defines what ROM do you have. Check here RM-937 02061.00066.14253.40004 ? Seidea
