    Well i found this info on the website. and it says that it includes SensorCore.

    Every new Snapdragon SoC includes SensoreCore technology (a.k.a Sensor engine or Sensor hub), including the S400 in the L640. Not all SoCs support the full array of sensors however. Why do you ask?

    ^ That's a very popular half-truth. It's a bit confusing. Nokia has a SensorCore SDK. That is the software part. Qualcomm has the hardware counterpart. You need both, but while the software is the same everywhere, the hardware isn't.

    It's a bit of a misnomer. Haptic feedback would be more appropriate, but here the terms are used interchangeably:

    CONFIRMED! Just got Lumia 640 and coming from 930 (for money reasons) I can confirm that it has SensorCore and counts the steps without any trackers needed.
