Hello. I have a AT&T Nokia Lumia 1520 and I been having screen issues with it so I was wondering has anyone in the U.S own a International Nokia Lumia 830 and what is there experience? I would settle for a 930 but that is out of my budget right now.

Lumia 830 is a great phone.Browse the threads in the 830 section. There are plenty of users who have lots of things to say about this phone. If you need info on where to get it at a decent price PM me.

I own an International, unlocked 830 (though lately I've been using a 920) and I'm on AT&T.
Works fine with AT&T except that you will not have LTE, you'll get their HSPA+ speeds.

My 1520 was dropped and now has a shattered screen. Due to budget, I replaced it with an international 830. The size difference will take some time to get used to, but it is easier to use the swipe keyboard.

Coo. How is your day to day usage?

My wife gets really good battery life on hers (replacing a 920). I've only had mine for about an hour or so, but I expect it to hold up well. I'm certainly impressed with the screen quality.

Awesome! The 1520 is too gargantuan for my daily use. The beast. I considered the AT&T version of the 830 but I like no contract better and carrier branding just turns me off from buying that version of the device. I like that it has Wireless charging Capabilities out of the box

I switched from a yellow unlocked Lumia 1520 to a Lumia 830. No regrets. Had some bad luck with a lemon device but after that... very happy with it. You learn to appreciate not having the swipe/tap/scroll bug of the 1520!

Agreed. I may have the same bug on my 1520. The bug that bugs me most of the 1520 is when the upper left hand corner of the display turns grey at times and when I double tap to wake the device the screen and the backlight buttons mess up.
