what to do if your nokia lumia 920 is taking to long to reset?

i just bought my nokia from a friend and had to reset it but it is take to long to reset the gears have been on my phone for 3 days now and i am frustrated so what can i do to speed this process up?

If I were you I'd definitely soft reset it and try again. 3 days seem as like as "stuck" in my vocabulary.

Else I'd try the Nokia recovery tool to re-flash the firmware via PC
