Fitbit Surge Or MS Band

I am thinking of getting one of these mentioned tracker. Which one works well with windows phone, I know fit it doesn't offer calls on windows phone what else I am missing with fitbit vs getting band.

you'll also be missing music controls. I have one but I didn't buy the surge for it's calling/music features. It's a fitness band and a very good one at that. Fitbit has said that the calling features are coming in a future update.

What do you need your watch/band to do?

How do you like your surge , compared to Microsoft band. I want band/watch to track steps , calories burned , heart rate to track my workouts . Better battery life also .. Is surge comfortable to wear all day to wear and type ..
