Is changing emmc change the imei? (1020)

Hi all,
Yesterday i repair deadboot of lumia 1020,jtag log say that emmc error,so i change the emmc, it works. But when i check the imei its change. When i check the imei its invalid imei.
So are changing emmc is changing imei too?

You must try to Nokia care center first, if there is no solution the you go with this way...
*my case ncc suggest me to change board with fantastic price, like a new lumia 1020

Changing an IMEI is technically illegal in itself.

However, you can change the IMEI if you basically change the phone. Changing the circuitry inside will change the IMEI. However, you will need a donor device with a preferably clean IMEI.
