Hi m8s i need some help here please.

I hade on my phone 8.10.14203.308 BUT i wanted to see if i could update to 8.10.14219.341 so i use this to flash:
-GT-I8750OXXCMK2_R_SIGNED.csc(firmware/gdr3)
-I8750XXCMK2_I8750XCMK2(firmware/gdr3)

ATIV S I8750 PHONE BEFORE FLASH:
PDA: i8750XXDOC2
Phone: i8750XXDOC2
CSC: i8750OXADOC2
Default CSC: ATO**
Bluetooth SW: 1.0
Bluetooth HW: 1.0
WiFi SW: 0.1
NFC: 1.36

SO: 8.10.14204.306
FW: 2424.15.3.2
HW: 15.15.1.0
RADIO: 2424.15.3.2

And came up with this:

AFTER FLASH:
PDA: i8750XXDOC2
Phone: i8750XXDOC2
CSC: i8750OXXCMK2
Default CSC: NEE**
Bluetooth SW: 1.0
Bluetooth HW: 1.0
WiFi SW: 0.1
NFC: 1.36

SO: 8.10.14157.200
FW: 2424.15.3.2
HW: 15.15.1.0
RADIO: 2424.15.3.2

NOW BACK AGAIN AFTER UPDATE:
PDA: i8750XXDOC2
Phone: i8750XXDOC2
CSC: i8750OXADOC2
Default CSC: NEE **
Bluetooth SW: 1.0
Bluetooth HW: 1.0
WiFi SW: 0.1
NFC: 1.36

SO: 8.10.14203.306
FW: 2424.15.3.2
HW: 15.15.1.0
RADIO: 2424.15.3.2

** Change the CSC to NEE

How do i move forward NOW and UPDATE to 8.10.14219.341 (now it says i have the latest update) but i also want to move to 8.10.15xxx.xxx and forward.
So how can i do that the easy way?

Have successfully updated my ATIV S to 8.1.2. So far, I can confirm that Bluetooth keyboard support is not available. Perhaps a registry tweak will fix this?

Howdy, has anybody managed to update their Samsung ATIV S to 8.10.15148.160, or 8.10.15137.148 is all we could get for Sammy?

Is there any way to obtain 8.10.15148.160 by somehow mimicking Lumia 640 DS?

Thanks.

Hi guys, need some help.

My phone: Ativ S, CSC ATO, official 8.1.1 (14157 with 2424.15.3.2 firmware), no PfD, no Insider, no custom roms.

1. Registering phone, deploying xap - done, no problems.
2. Install CustomWPSystem (in phone) and PfD (on SD) - done, no problems.
3. Registry edit - done, no problems.
4. Restart phone - done, no problems ;-)
5. Check update - problem :-( Stuck here. I'm trying for a few hours and nothing. "Chcecking for update..." is all I get. No update, no error, nothing. Only "checking..."

What's wrong?

EDIT: Holy cow! It's working now! Downloading! Whoaaa!!! I'm happy af :)

EDIT 2: DONE! 15137 on board! Last three questions:
- hard reset required?
- can I remove PfD (reg edit) and CustomWPS?
- can I left "higscreen", "000-88" and "winwin" or I must change to previous entries (do not remember what it was, help)?

Hi,
First off, congrats with finally getting the update.

I admit, checking the update takes considerable time so you obviously had to wait like 15-20 mins or so to start obtaining the update.

I was also trying to obtain the update for Nokia Lumia 640 Dual Sim by setting the following registry values:
Key:
HKLM\SYSTEM\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo

Value:
PhoneManufacturer

Original data: SAMSUNG
New data: NOKIA

Value:
PhoneManufacturerModelName

Original data: GT-I8750
New data: RM-1077_1004

Value:
PhoneModelName

Original data: GT-I8750
New data: Lumia 640 Dual Sim

Unfortunately, this doesn't help obtaining 15137.160.

But this allows obtaining Here apps and even upgrading to Windows 10 Mobile 10586.71

Important: Built-in camera app started to crash on launching. The only way to get it to work on Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 was to return registry values above to their original settings.

I didn't reset the phone after upgrading.

Hope this helps.

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know the default values of the registry keys for the Samsung Ativ S:

"PhoneManufacturer"=""
"PhoneManufacturerModelName"=""
"PhoneMobileOperatorName"=""

I followed the guide and upgraded to the latest firmware however I've been recieving some issues (i.e. constant mobile operator messages that cannot be turned off). I want to revert back to 8.0 but would like to restore the keys to their original values first.

Cheers,
Kenshin1981

Don't want to be rude, but you should really do some research or in this case a bit scrolling through the thread (it's only 4 pages), cuz the answer you need is few posts above, but here you go:
Value: PhoneManufacturer
Original data: SAMSUNG
--------------------
Value: PhoneManufacturerModelName
Original data: GT-I8750
--------------------
Value: PhoneModelName
Original data: GT-I8750
--------------------
"PhoneMobileOperatorName"="" is filled with the mobile operator you have with your SIM.
-----------------------------
Or, you could just read the first post of this thread, you have everything there explained :)

Until I read your post, I never knew that a hard reset returns the registry back to the default values. :D

Don't want to be rude,

Not rude at all. It was my fault. I had this thread bookmarked for almost a year now however I should of checked out the newer posts before posting.

Thankyou for taking the time to reply though. I really appreciate it. :)

Sadly I'm still having issues with my ATIV S even after flashing and resetting the values. :(

After flashing my phone back to stock settings, I updated the phone all the way to the latest official 8.1 OS that Samsung has released thus far. While the constant "Mobile Operator" were no longer an issue, the battery life was terrible and I had to resort back to the registry hack in order to update back to 8.1 Update 2 (8.10.15137.148).

Unfortunately after the registry hack and update I'm back to constantly receiving 'Mobile Operator' messages. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? It's driving me crazy. :(

I've attached a screenshot to what I mean:

I got a Samsung ATIV S GT-I8750
OS 8.0.10211.204
Firmware 2608.13.01.1
It is now useless but it is a very nice phone. It is a waste. I am going to follow this and upgrade it.
I do not have to Flash CMJ1 with ATO CSC right?
Can it be upgraded to Window phone 10?
