Why aren't my settings opening in Windows 10 preview after updating from Windows 8.1 in Lumia 520?

Settings not opening in Windows 10 preview after updating from windows 8.1 in Lumia 520

After installation of windows 10 using windows insider I am not able to open settings, nothing happens when I tap on settings option. Please help me out of this.

well documented fix = Hard Reset after taking the Win10 download, that fixes a host of problems.

Same with my 520. I did a hard reset, and it made it worse.

I think the only thing to do is roll back to 8.1, then join the slow ring. That's my plan.

Good question. How to hard reset if there is no way I can get to the settings?

you can hard reset by switching off the phone, turn it back on by pressing the Vol down button and the power button together, u'll see an exclamation mark, press vol up then vol down then the power button and press the vol down button. the phone will restart with the reset process
